Next meeting - April 12

Greetings!

Our own Tom Crawford will chat with us this week on TWO subjects.  As you know, Tom is the Scout Master for our Cub Scout Pack #246, and he will share information with us related to the Cub Scouting program.  You're probably also aware that Tom works for the U S Forest Service.  The focus of his Tuesday morning presentation will center on the Youth Conservation Corp, and it promises to be very interesting.

Hope you'll join us - Tuesday, April 12th, 7:00 am at the Pancake House.  As usual, we'll meet in Santa's Sweet Shoppe, just to the left as you enter the restaurant.

See you then!!

Jim

Idaho Community Foundation at next meeting on April 5

Greetings!

We are fortunate to have Mr. Robert Hoover, President and CEO of the Idaho Community Foundation, for this week's program.   In scheduling the engagement, Mr. Hoover's office noted "a little bit of information about what we do: The ICF is a nonprofit organization. The ICF's mission is 'To Enrich the Quality of Life Throughout Idaho.'  The Foundation does not define what that means; rather, ICF invites communities statewide to describe - through the applications they submit - what is needed to make life better for the people in their town. To achieve its mission, ICF gathers funds from donors, helping them achieve their philanthropic objectives; grows the funds over time through a sound investment process; and grants the funds for a broad variety of philanthropic projects statewide."

Mr. Hoover is a distinguished guest and speaker, having served as President of both the University of Idaho and the College of Idaho.  His program promises to be interesting and timely.  He will be traveling to McCall to meet with us; let's have a great turn out and a warm McCall welcome for Mr. Hoover.

Hope to see you Tuesday, April 5th, 7:00 am at the Pancake House.  We'll be in Santa's Sweet Shoppe just to the left as you enter the restaurant.

Thanks,

Jim
