Hello Friends and Optimist,
Tomorrow morning, George Pool will come to our breakfast meeting to discuss the Meals on Wheels and the After-School programs. George is a retired Civil Engineer but spends a very generous amount of his time working on these programs among others. George would like to share some information on the status of these important programs.
After George's presentation, we will discuss winter carnival activities, logistics, plans. There is a great need for volunteers especially the first weekend of Winter Carnival. We plan on operating a "Chowder and Chili" tent, assisting in chaperoning the teen dance held by the Track Team, and having two floats in the Parade. Contact Michel Yeakle or Tom Crawford if you have any time to help. Mechel @ 469-9293, Tom @ 315-2714.
January's Board Meeting will be held at 8:00, right after the regular morning meeting.
Come join us for breakfast tomorrow at Pancake House,7:00 am.
